Sound Holes
Every clock with a time piece has sound holes. These sound holes are decorated with fretwork. This fretwork is glued on a cotton cloth. It’s build up out of two layers of veneer which are softened and tiered apart after the fretwork is made. So you get a symmetry for the sound holes.
