Woodworm killer
Woodworm in furniture is an absolute “killer” It destroys the structure of the wood and can spread out to other objects in your room. If you see small amounts of wood dust underneath your furniture it’s time to act appropriately and treat the woodworm by using woodworm killer. Always try out a little amount on the side-corner of your cupboard to see if it doesn’t cause any nasty spots. Often furniture are finished with varnish, wax or oil. These surfaces are difficult for woodworm killer to penetrate. Here you need to use an injection needle to fill the small holes. The back, bottom and drawers of a cupboard (often not finished and aren’t visible) can be treated normally with a brush. Let the liquid dry out properly and make sure you’re venting the room adequately. For big surfaces it’s better to treat this outside under cover or in a garden shed. Drying time 24 hours. When after some time, still wood dust appears a second treatment is necessary.
Hardener
When legs or other areas of your furniture are strongly damaged by woodworm I recommend a Hardener treatment. These areas are often very brittle. By applying a hardener using a brush or injection needle the holes are becoming hard and do not break or damages so quickly anymore.
Always use a hardener only, after a woodworm killer treatment. Make sure the woodworm killer is dried out properly first.
Patine wax
Wax prevents drying out and reduces the risk of cracks in your furniture’s. Wax maintains you furniture and protects it from dirt and moisture damage. When a furniture is pale and has changed colour Patine wax is a good wax to apply. It’s giving your furniture a warm tint. You can get Patine wax in different colours.
Apply Patine wax with a brush or cloth but make sure you wipe off the surface so that you leave a “film (thin layer) of wax behind. After drying rub the surface with a cotton clove for a nice shiny effect. Treat your furniture at least once a year for the best protection.
Furniture wax
Furniture wax is as Patine wax a good way to protect and maintain you furnitur for dirt and moisture damage. You apply furniture wax in the same way as Patine wax. Because furniture wax is thicker make sure you wipe off the surface properly, use it in small quantities and apply at small areas at once.
Furniture oil
Oil is protecting you furniture for drying out and gives a nice semi shine finish. Varnished furniture can’t be oiled. Oil is penetrating into the timbers and is easy to apply. Osmo hard wax oil is ideal for table tops. It gives a moisture protection, scratch free surface and is dirt repulsive. When your table top gets dirty, simply sandpaper the surface with 360/400 gritt and apply another coat of oil with a soft cloth. Make sure you wipe off all the strips and leave it to dry for 24 hours.

Patina Leather
Leather can become very dry while the surface can start showing cracks. Natural materials such as leather need maintenance. Patina Leather is a cream which is easy to apply with a soft cloth. It prevents leather from drying out, maintains a warm colour and keeps it moistened and flexible.
